I just want to let you know that we’re quite impressed with DMI’s team so far. Our next door has been updating us on the house status and things are moving along quite nicely (as scheduled almost). In addition, the neighbor said the DMI construction team has been professional and respectful of them being there. They pick up after themselves, are courteous, kept the land clean, etc. We had doubts initially due to hiccups with permitting, but now we’re so glad we went with DMI. Thank you DMI!!!!

Thank you DMI for building such a well-built house. Thank you for after Charlie you came out and nailed down all our soffits and we never lost a one in Ian. I think that’s why we didn’t have water during Ian. Love our home been here since 2003. 

I purchased a Useppa model house from your company built here in North Port in 2005. We were in the center of IAN, and the damage consisted of 1 and 1/2 singles that had to be replaced!!!! I thank you for such a well-built house. Close neighbors had much more severe damage.

Just wanted to pass on info about our house happy to say we received hardly any damage.  We lost the pool cage, of course, but the house stayed dry and lost a few of the end caps on the roof.  When I drive around and see all the houses destroyed I’m very thankful we chose DMI.  Please pass on my thank you to the owners for doing such a great job building our house.

I have worked with other builders for residential and commercial projects and feel that DMI lives up to their reputation as a 5-star builder. If you are lucky enough to work with them, you will not go wrong.

The custom home built for us by DMI Homes is a dream come true.  The home is very well built and DMI was very accommodating in making whatever changes we wanted.  Their knowledge and expertise were unsurpassed and we would recommend them to anyone wishing to build, or renovate, a home in southwest Florida.

DMI custom built our new house in the time they said they would and for the amount of money they said it would cost.  They were wonderful to work with and managed to incorporate all the things we said were important to us.  They kept us in the loop through email, phone calls, and personal meetings.  They suggested many options and we are very pleased with the result.  Even after the closing, they set up meetings with some of their subcontractors to explain how to maintain and use some of the new gadgets that we had not had in our previous homes.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants a house built to match their personal wishes.

Just a note to thank you for our new home. We are enjoying it very much. I especially want to thank you for the good job. Although we were not here to watch the process the neighbors certainly complimented you on a good job. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

“Just have to say!” We are very happy with our home. And can’t believe we are in here for almost 3 months already. Time flies when you’re unpacking boxes..

As happy as we are with the home you built for us even more was the joy and thrill your teams provided as it was under construction… I don’t think we will ever get over hurricane Charley and watching our life come back together was more valuable than you will ever know.

I thought I’d share why we think our DMI home is special……….. at least to us!

1. The architecture from outside to the interior seems to flow well and it seems well planned and includes an open warm feeling
2. Tile to the ceiling in the shower/tubs
3. The little chrome strip at the bottom of bathroom mirrors
4. The look of finished caulking around all trim and cabinets thru out the house
5. The quality feeling even though the cabinets are not upgraded
6. Stable blinds and windows and hardware
7. Tie beam and stem wall construction
8. The feeling the house is strong
9. Hard coat plaster walls
10.  Plant shelf
11. Recessed AC/heat unit in garage
12. Grading to match neighbor property
13. Roof overhang at an angle matching roof trusses

There is so much more but just felt like letting you know a few. We are thankful for the wonderful home you built for us and not one of the items mentioned cost more! They represent what a quality construction company you own and manage. If we had any more money we would let you build another one “just for the fun of it”.

Doug and I have wanted to write to you regarding our new home, but we have been so busy that we just haven’t been able to take the time to sit down and write it.

We cannot express enough how much we love our new home!! It is everything we wanted and more. Thanks to you and your entire DMI family, we have a beautiful new home to enjoy for many years to come. We just wish we were able to be living in it full time, but that day will be here before you know it!

From the very beginning of the process, you made everything a real joy, especially when it came to making changes and upgrades. As we mulled over all of our options, you were so patient as we constantly changed our minds. Being so far away during the building process was difficult for us, but you and Kent made sure that we knew everything that was going on. You two make a wonderful team!!!

As you know, I work for a structural engineering firm and have worked with most of the engineers of our firm for over 20 years. When the construction began, I showed the pictures to my senior partner and he was incredibly impressed with the workmanship. He told me, “Your builder is doing everything right!” Although we felt comfortable with our decision to go with DMI prior to that comment, it just solidified what we believed.

Thanks again for building us such a wonderful home and we look forward to seeing more of your homes in the Rotonda West area! We will definitely pass your name and Kent’s name along to anyone we meet whose looking for a quality builder/realtor. You are the best!!
